longwood gardens

so.. wow. i havent blogged in a WHILE! and, i know i still owe everyone the blog from kansas, dont worry.. ill be working on it.. more.. haha

anyway,
today i went to Longwood Gardens with my photography class for school. It was very interesting and i had a GREAT time taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers. :] i tagged along with one of my friends, and got some great pictures of the scenery.

in other news... haha what other news? there really isnt any. Life has been pretty good...nothing too exciting. well, besides that yesterday (may 5th) i had my violin cleaned and restrung and my bow rehaired and cleaned as well. It sounds SO much better now. and, i also came to find out that... strings and bow hair are supposed to be relpaced every 8 months to a year... well.. im sad to say that mine went about 4 years without either. WHOOPS! andd,, i also went to a man that makes bows today after my violin lesson to look at some new bows.. for a better sound for my violin. But, just with the new strings and hair, it sounds like night and day. SO MUCH DIFFERENT!!! im so happy.

SNOW day!

Today, the twenty-second day of february.. was a SNOW DAY!!
i woke up at the usual five thirty to take the pooch out. (which by the way is getting big. a whopping 43 pounds!!) anyway, i came downstairs and got him out of his crate to take him outside and feed him. so, we went outside so he could relieve himself and when i walked outside.. it was bright white!! and i was like, "woahhh. snoww!!" so when i was done feeding him i put him back in his crate and went back upstairs. went into my room and turned on channel 19 to see if school was cancelled. i looked, and.

nope. school was still on. i pulled my covers over my face. and then i turned it on again, but there was...

NO SCHOOL!! yes, i could get some more sleep. so, back to dreamland i went, and dreamt about... nothing..

at about.. 845 my mom came in and said, "hey, you need to get up." so, i got up, and went downstairs.. izzy was layin on the couch watching Dragon Tales.. and she said, "Becca. after breakfast me and you are gonna take hudson outside.." that was news to me. i figured i would be going outside with her at some point today, but not directly after breakfast.
breakfast didnt turn out to be until 945, and we didnt go outside until my mom pulled into the drive way. i bundeled izzy in loads ful of clothes. sweatpants under her jeans, 2 sweatshirts and a coat, scarf, hat and gloves. we went outside, and then izzy and hudson started running around. i took my camera out to take some fun pictures. have a look see hehe, they're pretty cute.

izzy had some snow in her hands, and hudson came running towards her. i think he was running really fast. hehe.

i caught izzy eating some snow. she kept saying she liked it, and that it tasted good.
then, she noticed i saw her...

she kept eating snow..

and im sure you could guess. MORE snow..

mom came outside, and started to sweep and shovel the deck and sidewalk. Then, hudson would walk up and bite the shovel.

1000 words and a couple pictures

well folks, i have a little visitor sitting next to me this time.. my little isabelle. <3>

hmm, so im not so sure what this blog is really about. but all i know is that i had some pictures, and i thought it would be pretty cool to show them.
hmm, so, i guess every picture has their own story..so ill try to tell you about each picture i post. <3>

this is in mexico.. at some resturant at the resort. haha, it was a good night. We had dinner, and then there were these couches on the way out, and a couple sumbreros and some tequlia bottles. haha, and so, jenny told me and jarrett to sit down and she put the sumbreros on our heads. before we could even try to say no, my dad was like, "SAY CHEESE!" and took a rediculous picture of me and jarrett. it was really funny, and hmm, the picture didnt really look that bad. :]

then,me and my dad sat on the couch, and jenny took an imbarassing picture of us. i look undubidbly rediculous. haha if that is even a word.

so, at dinner, i took my dads camera, and took a very cute couple picture of daddy and jenny.
then, after dinner, i think someone no names mentioned (jenny) needed to use the lavatories, so i layed down on these concrete barriers and jarrett and mark followed me. haha, my dad said that we looked like seals, and he liked it so he took our picture. haha, its possibly one of my favortie. god, i love mexico.

ohh look. more pictures of sunny hot mexico. this was one of the "house tours" where they take you on a mini cruise ship, and tour you around cabo and show you the pretty islands. then, they stop at this one place and let you go snorkling if you want. this beach (below) is called lovers beach. and the arch,is one of the famous, if not famous rock of cabo. isnt it pretty?

so, that was just mexico this past june. it was possibly one of the best vacations ive been on. <3 back at the hotel,....so, look im pretty hefty. i can pick up jarrett. haha

hmm, well these are the two i have of daddy doing what he liked to do. <3>

hmm, so, isabelle wanted me to post some pictures of hudson, and show everyone how big he is getting.
in the past 4 weeks, he grown about 17 pounds. He doesnt look that much bigger, but he actually is. From looking at his face, you can kind of tell that his nose got a little bigger or longer.




well, thats pretty much most of it.
today, me and my madre made hudson a dog bed out of old jeans that she had. it was a lot of fun, trying to figure out what to do, and pretty much just doing our own thing. But, i had a lot of fun, and i know mom did too. i dont have any pictures of it yet, but im sure i will sometime.
well, hope everyone likes the pics. ill be sure to write more next time, but i thought maybe i'd give everyone a nice little rest of their eyes, so they didnt have to read 27 paragraphs and then see about 3 pictures. well, ill be writing some more.

mirrors, pictures and some junk.

hmm,
it basically all started this weekend.. on saturday.. well, i suppose this is last weekend.. considering today is friday..
i went shopping with mom.. grocery shopping.. nothing too too exctiting. no pictures for that.. haha.
umm.. so after we came home and put away the gorceries. (which was like.. 4..) i called zach.. around.. hmm. 430-5. and asked if he wanted to hang out with me.. he said.. no the first time and said that he was in walmart, and needed to pick up some things, and yeahh yada yada.
so, i we talked for like 5 more minutes, and then said good bye. he said that if anything changed, he would call me back. but i wasnt expecting him to really call me back since he had already said he was busy. i went into the living room, and sat on the couch for maybe 3 minutes, and then my phone is doing the ba da da da da da da da ring tone. (something corny on my phone haha) so it was zach, and he asked me if i wanted to come over and make chicken and pudding (yes i know, weird combination..) and have dinner with him and if i wanted, i could sleep over. so, i said sure, but told him that i had a photo project i needed to work on. so i told him that it was taking pictures of car parts and cars and stuff like that. so he said okay, we can do that sunday after church if that was okay. so, i was like yeahh. that sounds great. so, he picked me up about a half hour later. packed both of my cameras.. the 35mm (my dads) and my 35mm my digital.. and clothes for church on sunday..

we got to zachs, and we took scarlett for a walk around the condo.. it was like.. a half hour walk. when we got back to the front of zach and tonias condo, tonia was pulling in.. (coming home from work). we went inside, and me and zach started cookin some chicken.. haha we didnt know what really we were making (well, mostly zach), but.. i had fun watching him add random things to the chicken. i think he added.. salt and pepper, some type of tomatoes (something in a can), garlic, i think parsley.. and who knows what else. i dont know, it was really good when we ate it, and they had had stuffed peppers the night before, and there was some leftovers, so we had them too. it was really good, and after dinner, me and zach made some pudding. mmm. mm. chocolate and vanilla. we layered them, and they were superr good. we started to do a puzzle zach bought at walmart, and finished it at like.. 1230 i think. then, it was bed time and i slept on the couch. lol, i was out like a light within about 10 minutes. in the morning, tonia and scarlett came to wake me up, and i got dressed and we were headed out for church.. to the early service. pretty much the same church thing went as usual.. and in the 1030 service i played my violin for communioun (something i do now.. gotten some compliments for it. so why not play, right?).. hmm, so after that, zach and tonia came to pick me up so we could go out and take some pictures.

we all were pretty hungry, so we went to panera and got some food. scarlett was in the car and, you know how like when you get a sandwich they give you chips? haha, well me and zach were feeding scarlett some chips when we were eating them too. hahaa.

so, we were done panera and then zach drove us to this place in riverside.. i think its called... clarence's VW service thingy. haha. i dont know, the dude has a wholeeeee bunch of old volkswagons, and since i needed to take pics of some old cars and some other metal type things, it was a good place to go. i took like a roll of pics there, they were awesome!!!!! haha, not to much to say about that. but um, there were pieces all over the place, yeah it was junky, but it was so cool. i climbed into one and took a picture of the stearing wheel, (and when i developed the film today, itt looked really cool!! ) hmm, took some hubcap pics, head and tailight pics.. and some others. .well.. a lot of otehrs.
after that, zach knew this guy up the street who owns an auto body, so he let me take some pics of bolts and wrenches and an engine. its pretty sweet. thenn,, we went to mom-o and pop-o devennys, cause since we were only in riverisde, it was only like 10 if that mins away from their house. so, we went over there.. at around.. 3:30. got there, drank some coke, ate some pretzals.. and sat and talked for about a half hour. then i went outside. and since uncle paul has some of his stuff over there.. (chimney sweep stuff and an old motorhome which was AWESOME to take pics of). so, i went out, and took some pics of random things. hmm, so i went inside after i was done taking the pictures, and since the last time i was over pop-o decided to teach me how to drive the old toyota. haha, its like a 1982 blue toyota stick shift, with no power steering. haha. it was so much fun though. i only stalled like 4 times.. okay well, maybe 6. hehe. but we went around the field, and on the dirt road back behind their house. it was a lot of fun, and now everytime i go over, popo says i have to drive. but, thats fine with me hehe, i love driving.

about 2 hours later, i went out again, and took some more pictures.. but with my digital. <3>

so, lets see what the plans are for this weekend..
